Conference registration is now open for the 2019 Mason Arts Research Center Convening—Making Connections for Arts Education Research, Policy, and Practice—on Friday October 18th, 2019. This event is focused on arts research education and child development from multiple perspectives: Academic research, local and national policy, grant making, and arts practice.
The conference will feature speakers from the worlds of arts research, arts policy, arts grant-making, and arts education, including speakers from Imagination Stage, the Wallace Foundation, Wolf Trap, the National Endowment for the Arts, George Mason University, University of Maryland, and more, as well as multiple opportunities for discussion, panels, posters, and collaborations.
This all day event (8am-6pm) takes place on the George Mason University Campus in Fairfax, VA on Friday, October 18th, 2019.
Opportunities to present research and organization posters, as well as to participate in collaborative and networking sessions are available.
Poster proposals may be submitted via google site: here. Posters will be accepted on a rolling basis and may present research findings, organizational questions, information about funding opportunities, or other information on child development, research, and the arts.
