Dates and Venue
The conference will be held March 12-14, 2026 (Thursday-Saturday) in downtown Omaha, Nebraska.
After a social hour on Thursday night, there will be programming all day Friday and most of Saturday, with parallel sessions during most program blocks. The conference is entirely in-person (i.e, there are no remote or streaming options).
NEW! This year we will also feature pre-conference sessions during the day on Thursday before the social hour (for an additional registration fee). If you’re interested in proposing a pre-conference session, see information here.
The conference hotel is the Embassy Suites Downtown, conveniently located in the downtown Old Market district and within walking distance of museums, theaters, and the zoo.
Travel and Lodging
Omaha is served by Eppley Airfield (code OMA), an international airport that is only a few miles away from the conference hotel.

Registration
Registration and payment is managed by EventBrite–registration will launch in the Fall.
All presenters and attendees must register and pay online; there will be no on-site or paper-based registration or payments.
Registration fees are listed in USD, and the system accepts a range of payment types and currencies.
All submitters will receive submission decisions in time to take advantage of the discounted “early bird” rates.
Early Bird Registration (by January 31, 2026)
- $25: Students (Graduate, Undergraduate, and Post-Bacc)
- $75: Early Career (Post-docs, people within 5 years of their terminal degree)
- $125: Faculty and Professionals
Standard Registration (February 1 – February 28, 2026)
- $35: Students (Graduate, Undergraduate, and Post-Bacc)
- $150: Early Career (Post-docs, people within 5 years of their terminal degree)

Submitting and Presenting Your Research
Want to present your research at the conference? We welcome submissions of thematic symposia, individual talks, and posters. See the Call for Papers for the full details, instructions, and deadlines.
Submissions are accepted and managed online using the Microsoft CMT system. You will need to log-in or create a free account. Submissions will open September 1, 2025.
We have two deadlines:
- November 7, 2025: the main deadline for symposia, individual talks, student showcase, and posters
- January 23, 2026: a “last call” deadline for posters submissions only
