2025 Conference: March 13-15, New Haven CT

Program Highlights

The two days of programming will have a wide range of sessions that showcase the scope and diversity of our division’s scholarship:

  • keynote talks by leading international researchers
  • thematic symposia, individual talks, and posters
  • the “Student Showcase” for students-only research
  • practical workshops on methodological and statistical topics
  • mentoring and networking events for students and early-career researchers

Dates and Venue

The conference will be held March 13-15, 2025 (Thursday-Saturday) in downtown New Haven CT, a historic city that is home to Yale University.

After a social hour on Thursday night, there will be programming all day Friday and most of Saturday, with parallel sessions during most program blocks. The conference is entirely in-person (i.e, there are no remote or streaming options).

The conference hotel is the OMNI New Haven at Yale, a hotel in the heart of New Haven that is conveniently located next to restaurants and cultural attractions.

Travel and Lodging

New Haven is conveniently served by several Northeastern airports, including major international airports with direct flights to European cities.

  • New Haven is served by JFK (JFK), LaGuardia (LGA), and Newark (EWR) airports, with convenient train and airport shuttle service into downtown New Haven.
  • Tweed New Haven (HVN) airport, only a few miles away, has direct flights serving the Atlantic coast and Midwest.

The OMNI New Haven hotel will have a number of discounted rooms available for attendees (details and links forthcoming).

Registration

All presenters and attendees must register and pay online; there will be no on-site or paper-based registration or payments. Registration and payment is managed by EventBrite (registration link will open in October). Registration fees are listed in USD, and the system accepts a range of payment types and currencies.

All submitters will receive accept/reject decisions in time to take advantage of the discounted “early bird” rates

“Early Bird” Registration (by February 3, 2025)

  • $25: Students (Graduate, Undergraduate, and Post-Bacc)
  • $75: Early Career (Post-docs, people within 5 years of their terminal degree)
  • $125: Faculty and Professionals

Standard Registration (after February 3, 2025)

  • $35: Students (Graduate, Undergraduate, and Post-Bacc)
  • $150: Early Career (Post-docs, people within 5 years of their terminal degree)
  • $250: Faculty and Professionals

Submitting and Presenting Your Research

Want to present your research at the conference? We welcome submissions of thematic symposia, individual talks, and posters. See the Call for Papers for the full details, instructions, and deadlines.

Submissions are accepted and managed online using the Microsoft CMT system. You will need to log-in or create a free account. (The online submission form will open in September.)

We have two deadlines:

  • November 1, 2024: the main deadline for symposia, individual talks, and posters
  • January 24, 2025: a “last call” deadline for posters only
